Our friendly family owned traditional country dog friendly pub nestled in the South Downs National Park just outside Lewes, East Sussex, offers eclectic & traditional dining along with a locally sourced twice weekly carvery alongside the local beers and warm welcome you'd expect in a small independent pub (we're very proud to not be part of a chain). ​The Rainbow lies just twenty minutes from the vibrant City of Brighton and just a few minutes north of the historic and county town of Lewes on the A275. 
 

The Rainbow Inn has a recently refreshed cosy, warm interior and inviting atmosphere whether you are joining us for a family meal, a candlelit dinner for two, or even just a pint of local beer. Our kitchen team, along with the manager put together a varied, regularly changing locally sourced menu.
 

Our locally sourced Carvery available 12.00-5.00pm Sundays and Wednesday lunchtimes is incredibly popular, drawing regular customers in from afar, it is very popular so please remember to book, as space is limited, especially in the winter months.
